About us We are a Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine practice with locations on the campus of Banner Desert in Mesa, the campus of Abrazo Scottsdale in Phoenix, in Laveen on the campus of Arizona General Hospital, and the campus of Banner Baywood in East Mesa. Currently we are seeking an MA or EMT that is interested in the world of wounds and hyperbaric medicine. We are hiring for a position at our North Phoenix location on the Abrazo Scottsdale campus!

Job Description :

Joining the AZ Wound family will involve managing patients undergoing hyperbaric treatments and/or wound care, being a part of a tight-knit team who are dedicated to the job, and delivering a compassionate care experiance daily! Yes, we will train you for this unique field but previous medical experiance is a requirement . Hyperbaric duties (EMTs only) include: pre and post-assessment of HBO treatment, management and oversight of patients undergoing hyperbaric treatment, coordination of scheduling with HBO and Wound Care, routine audits of equipment, and documentation of treatment.

Wound care duties can include:

patient intake, vitals, wound care, EMR data entry, photographing and assessing wounds, discharging of patients, cleaning exam rooms, restocking exam rooms, data entry, linens, and instrument sterilization. We are looking for flexible, easy-going, high energy people with no drama to join our team! The job can be labor intensive. You will be lifting, pulling, pushing, wrapping, squatting down to help move patients and position them. You will also find no other position as rewarding as this!
