Looking for a dynamic and rewarding role where every day brings new challenges? Lakeside Amusement Park is seeking proactive, skilled, and customer-focused Seasonal Incident Responders to join our team. This is not your typical EMT or security job—here, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests while being part of the excitement and energy of our park. If you're ready to make a difference and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! Must be available to work weekends and all summer holidays. What You'll Be Doing As an Incident Responder , you'll be at the forefront of guest safety and satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
Incident Prevention :
Proactively monitor the park to ensure a safe environment by addressing potential hazards (e.g., securing gates, cleaning up slip hazards, and putting away equipment).Guest Interaction :
Be the friendly face that greets guests, assists at security checkpoints, and helps de-escalate conflicts with professionalism and care.Emergency Response :
Respond promptly to incidents such as bee stings, nosebleeds, trips, falls, and ride-related situations. Provide first aid for minor injuries or heat-related issues.Incident Investigation :
Gather accurate details, complete thorough reports, and obtain relevant contact information for all incidents.Crowd Control and Security :
Assist with non-medical situations such as rescues, extrications, and maintaining order during disturbances.Equipment Readiness :
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of all equipment and supplies to ensure you're always prepared to respond. What We're Looking For To excel in this role, you should bring the following skills and qualifications:Experience :
At least 1 year of experience in emergency response, EMT, firefighting, or a related field. Experience in patient assessment, triage, and physical examinations is essential.Certifications :
A valid Driver's License is required. EMT certification, CPR/BLS certification, and experience with basic life support are highly valued.Physical Requirements :
Must be able-bodied, capable of standing and walking for extended periods (up to 11 hours on weekends), and able to perform heavy lifting/pulling/pushing items over 150 pounds. Comfort working at heights and using a harness is ideal.Skills :
Strong conflict de-escalation skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and a proactive attitude. Must maintain accurate documentation and demonstrate flexibility, a positive attitude, and exceptional customer service.Work Conditions :
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (hot, cold, wind, and rain) and handle potential exposure to hazards such as chemicals, infectious agents, and motor vehicle traffic.Professionalism :
Maintain good personal hygiene, cleanliness, and a respectful demeanor at all times. No foul speech or actions will be tolerated.Age Requirement :
Must be at least 18 years old.
