Job Summary Join our dynamic emergency medical services team as a Full Time EMT (All Levels), where you will play a vital role in providing rapid, compassionate, and expert pre-hospital care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a unique community, delivering critical patient care across diverse settings. You will be responsible for assessing, stabilizing, and transporting patients with professionalism and urgency, ensuring the highest standards of safety and medical excellence. Whether responding to urgent calls or by providing public service support, your expertise will make a meaningful difference in people's lives every day. Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing immediate medical attention and stabilization on scene. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history collection. Manage airway interventions and utilize advanced airway management techniques when necessary. Administer medications and injections following established protocols, ensuring proper aseptic technique. Operate emergency medical equipment such as cardiac monitors, power cots, and LUCAS Devices etc. Transport patients safely to hospitals or trauma centers while monitoring their condition en route. Collaborate with hospital staff during handoffs, providing detailed patient reports including physiology and injury details. Requirements Valid EMT certification at all levels (Basic Life Support certification required). No experience needed. Demonstrated proficiency in patient care procedures including airway management, proper lifting techniques and medication administration. Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and emergency medicine protocols. Austere rural environment and backcountry opportunities, and challenging incidents. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely during patient extrication and transport.
