EXPERIENCE

: Preferred 1-3 year of Medical Assistant/EKG Technician or Paramedic experience in a Cardiology office/Medical office setting. EKG and Phlebotomy experience

REQUIRED.

Experience with PET studies is preferred. Must be willing to perform all Medical Assisting duties, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting providers, and performing EKGs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

: High School Diploma or equivalent.

LICENSURE

MA Diploma or Paramedic License Required.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of medical and cardiology terminology, EKG, EMR. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, Team Oriented. Compassionate approach towards patients. Bilingual (English / Spanish). Ability to prioritize and multitask. Well-organized with attention to detail and Time Management Skills.
