Job Description

The successful candidate will be the primary and sole provider for medical services at a construction site in Madison, NC, beginning immediately. This is a full-time assignment, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a scheduled contract duration of 12-18 months. Responsibilities will include providing BLS services as needed, completing daily incident reports, and submitting patient care documentation. The position will be awarded to the first fully qualified applicant, so do not delay in responding. To be considered, you must be minimally certified as a state or nationally registered EMT, Paramedic or Nurse and have strong assessment and treatment skills. You must be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment, live in close proximity to the location, have current and prior 911 EMS experience and complete an online OSHA 10 construction certification if you do not already have at least that certification. Event Medic Services will provide all medical supplies, along with uniform shirts, vests, and hard hats. Initially you will be responsible for providing your own medical BDU pants and hard-toe work shoes. The hourly pay rate for this assignment is $25.00, with overtime when applicable. Strong knowledge of patient medical and trauma assessment. Excellent patient treatment skills for medical and trauma. Highly reliable and detail-oriented. Effective communication skills for interacting with on-site work staff, subcontractors, and team members. Ability to perform critical assessments related to construction site safety and efficiency. Knowledge of emergency response protocols in case of accidents or incidents on-site. Reliable vehicle transportation and local proximity to the job site. Candidates who have experience in emergency medical care or have worked in environments such as Trauma Centers, Hospitals, Construction Sites, or other occupational medicine environments are urged to apply for this position.
