EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER
(EMR)•
NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION
Ride and Care Transportation is seeking a reliable and compassionate Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) to join our growing team in South Jersey.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES A CURRENT, VALID EMR CERTIFICATION. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Applicants who do not possess a current Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments and procedures. Assist patients entering and exiting vehicles, including wheelchair and stretcher transports. Monitor patient condition during transport and respond appropriately within EMR scope of practice. Communicate professionally with healthcare facilities, patients, and family members. Complete trip documentation accurately and timely. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of assigned vehicle.
Requirements:
Current Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification (required). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass background check and drug screening. Ability to safely assist and move patients. Strong customer service and communication skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in non-emergency medical transportation. Wheelchair or stretcher transport experience. Current CPR/BLS certification. EMT certification welcomed but not required.
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
IMPORTANT
A valid EMR certification is required for this position. Applicants without proof of current EMR certification will not be considered.
Pay:
$19.00•$21.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
