Job Description

Busy Funeral Home and Medical Examiner recovery/ transport company seeks hard working, compassionate individuals to join our company due to ongoing growth. Applicant must live in Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston or Washtenaw County as you work on call, with a company vehicle from home . You will work in a variety of positions, including the following : Decedent recovery and transport. Staffing for Funeral Homes. Driving hearse for funeral services. Trauma clean up and Hoarding clean out. We currently have part-time openings. The ideal candidate should present a conservative, professional appearance. No visible tattoos or facial piercings. These positions would be ideal for persons with Military, EMT, or funeral home experience. Recent retirees welcome. Heritage Services provides all new employees, 1-week of paid training as well as ongoing training and seminars to help you better serve our clients. Upon completion of our training, you will be able to respond to hospitals, nursing homes, medical examiner scenes, residences, traffic accidents, etc. to recover and transport deceased patients in a compassionate and professional manor. Applicant requirements :. Must have a Chauffeur's license. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a driving and criminal background check. Must be able to remain compassionate, well-spoken and composed in difficult and emotional situations with the grieving family. Must be able to work well with persons of all backgrounds regardless of personal beliefs. Must be able to lift 150 lbs. and pull or push 250 lbs. Must live in
