HIRING DRIVERS
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) GA | SC | Independent Contractor (1099) ===================== What This Job Actually Is ===================== You'll transport patients to and from medical appointments, many of them elderly, disabled, or managing serious illness. These are people who have no other way to get there. When you show up on time and treat them with dignity, you're not just driving. You're the reason they make their appointment. That matters. It also requires more than most driving jobs. ===================== A Realistic Look at the Role =====================Early Starts:
Shifts begin as early as 4:30-6:00 AMDaily Cadence:
4-8 ambulatory trips per day, requiring excellent time management between drop-offs and pick-ups.Strict Time Discipline:
Strict pick-up windows (delays have real consequences for patients)Digital Execution:
Real-time trip documentation required via our driver appOperational Availability:

- Valid driver's license + clean DMV record (no more than 1 minor violation in 3 years)
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Required safety certifications must be current and maintained
- Smartphone with data plan for trip management
- Professional conduct with all passengers. No exceptions! ===================== Compensation ===================== Pay is variable based on trip volume, availability, and consistency.
- Average driver earnings: $25,000 / year
- Top-performing driver earnings: $60,000 / year Drivers who maximize availability, maintain reliability scores, and take on consistent weekly routes reach the higher end of this range.
