Assignment Length:
Approximately 90-180 days
Schedule:
Primarily 24 hours on/48 hours off; alternative schedules may be available Cedar Park Med is seeking experienced EMT's for temporary 911 EMS assignments in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience responding to emergency calls in a high-volume environment and be comfortable providing skilled, fast-paced patient care under pressure. Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide pre-hospital medical care Assess patients and determine appropriate emergency treatment Safely operate an ambulance and transport patients Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment Follow established clinical protocols and detailed written and verbal instructions Maintain accurate patient care reports and other required documentation Monitor medical supplies, equipment, and inventory Communicate effectively with patients, families, dispatchers, hospital personnel, and other emergency responders Perform precision tasks requiring strong concentration and hand-eye coordination Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Current South Carolina Emergency Medical Technician certification or eligibility to obtain required state certification Minimum of two years of high-volume 911 ambulance experience Valid driver's license Ability to safely operate an ambulance and emergency medical equipment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to remain focused, work effectively under pressure, and meet documentation deadlines Fire-based EMS experience is preferred No time to submit an application?
