EMT/ AEMT/ Paramedic-Nashville & Clarksville, TN Join our dedicated team of emergency responders committed to providing critical care and support in urgent situations. As an EMT/ AEMT/Paramedic with Team Mobile Health Care, you will play a vital role in delivering immediate medical assistance, ensuring patient safety, and facilitating efficient transportation to healthcare facilities and community partners. Key Responsibilities:
Respond to medical and traumatic emergencies, providing prompt and effective basic life support services. Assist hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes by providing inter-facility transfer services for patients requiring medical transportation. Administer emergency medical care at the scene of incidents, during transport, and enroute to healthcare facilities. Support other company departments as needed, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork in high-pressure situations. Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Currently certified as an EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic by the State of Tennessee Department of Public Health Office of Emergency Medical Services, or National Registry equivalent. Current certification in CPR - Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association or the American Safety and Health Institute. Current and active Motor Vehicle Operator's license. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, using good judgment and common sense with a thorough understanding of emergency medical care principles. Ability to work efficiently and interact constructively and professionally with other employees, a partner, public safety personnel, medical staff, and other emergency medical service members. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with patients, customers, clients, family members, bystanders and the general public in such a manner as to reflect credibly on TMHC. Demonstrates a level of skill and ability consistent with the provision of high-quality patient care. The ability to perform effectively as a team leader in patient care situations. The ability to perform effectively in public relations and community education functions and deal effectively with members of the medical community and the general public in promoting TMHC. The ability to lift and maneuver 150 pounds with assistance without difficulty. The ability to walk up and down stairs without difficulty and the ability to lift and carry 150 pounds up and down two flights of stairs with assistance without difficulty. The ability to sit or stand for long periods. The ability to walk a distance of one-quarter of a mile without difficulty and without affecting the immediate performance of job-related duties.
