Job Description

Duties:
The Part-Time EMS Lab Instructor provides hands-on instruction and skills supervision for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) students in a laboratory setting. This position supports student skill development in accordance with course objectives, state and national EMS standards, and institutional policies.
Required Qualifications:
Current certification as a NREMT Paramedic, Advanced EMT or EMT or state of Texas certification/licensure as a Paramedic, AMET, or EMT Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work evenings or weekends as scheduled
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates of applied science degree in EMS. Prior experience in EMS education or skills instruction. Familiarity with simulation-based training and EMS lab equipment. Certified EMS Instructor •Please note, applicants must be Texas residents or willing to relocate. Galveston College is not registered for employment outside of the state of Texas.
