Job Description
Part time, 24 hours, 7:00am-7:00pm Griffin Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Multi-Skilled Technician to join our patient care team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Multi-Skilled Technician performs and assists with routine and STAT blood draws, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and provides direct patient care support to ensure high-quality, patient-centered service. Essential Responsibilities Perform routine and STAT phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently. Obtain and document EKGs as ordered. Assist nursing staff with patient care activities and clinical procedures. Monitor and report patient conditions or concerns to the supervising RN. Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. Ensure proper specimen collection, labeling, handling, and transportation. Maintain equipment and supplies required for patient care, phlebotomy, and EKG procedures. Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection prevention standards Support a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare environment. Qualifications Experience in patient care, phlebotomy, and EKG performance required. Prior hospital experience preferred. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Current Phlebotomy Certification preferred. Patient Care Technician certification required Skills & Competencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service.
