Job Description

What We Offer Works under the direct supervision of Nursing Leadership. Performs a variety of basic patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Is also responsible for completing a variety of department specific tasks to assist with optimal department safety and functioning.
Schedule :
6:45pm - 7:15am, Night Shift, Fulltime (Shift Differential)

NHRMC New Hanover Regional Medical Center What You'll Do Education :
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Experience :
1 year of Nurse Aide experience. Experience in basic patient care, phlebotomy, EKG in an emergency or outpatient setting highly desirable, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Nurse Aide I, required. American Heart Association BLS required, required. Some departments have additional advanced CPR requirements as listed on staff annual education record, required. Phlebotomy Certification, preferred. Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Additional Skills (preferred): Knowledge of medical terminology.
