1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Senior Endoscopy Technician with 3+ years of GI/Endoscopy experience and SGNA certification or CST credentials for a full-time, weekday-only position at an outpatient endoscopy center in Mission Hills, CA. Details Standalone outpatient endoscopy center in Mission Hills, CA 3-room endoscopy center staffed by 3 gastroenterologists Day shifts, Mon-Fri, 7:00-15:30 (5x8-hour shifts); no weekends, holidays, or on-call High-volume setting averaging 34-36 procedures per day Patient population includes ASA Class 1, 2, and 3 patients Procedures include upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomies, biopsies, PEG placements, banding, balloon dilation, Bravo, X-track, ERCPs, EUS, EBUS, and enteroscopies Equipment includes colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS scopes, EUS scopes, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes Epic EMR required; ProVation experience preferred No floating to sister facilities Parking covered by facility Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in an endoscopy center or GI lab SGNA education completion or CST (Certified Surgical Tech) designation required Current BLS certification required Proficiency with colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes Experience with high-level disinfection of procedural equipment Epic EMR experience required Professional license required, if applicable First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Additional Information Perform and assist with a full range of GI procedures including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, polypectomies, banding, balloon dilation, PEG placements, and more Responsible for high-level disinfection and reprocessing of procedural equipment Back table setup and room turnover experience preferred ProVation charting experience preferred Works collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff in a team-oriented environment Local candidates are welcome to apply Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility All RTO requests should be submitted at the time of consideration Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty are required for consideration SSN and DOB required for considerationSimilar jobs in Mission Hills, CA
