Job Description:

Monitors levels of all endoscopy instruments and supplies. Follows written procedures for high-level disinfection and chemical and biological monitoring. Performs treatments and procedures within the defined scope of practice. Provides supportive care to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and physician. Ensures the endoscopy suite is adequately prepared for procedures.

Shift:

Four 10-hour shifts.

Holiday, Weekend, Night Call, Required, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Basic computer and keyboarding skills. [Required] Ability and willingness to work independently as well as in a team environment. [Required] Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule. [Required] Ability and willingness to adapt to change. [Required] Excellent communication skills. [Required]

Education:

High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]

Work Experience:

1+ work related experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

Basic Life Support

• CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Preferred]
