Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Endoscopy Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures involving endoscopic equipment. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive safe, efficient, and high-quality care during their endoscopic examinations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with medical professionals, utilize advanced imaging technology, and contribute to accurate diagnostic evaluations that improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities Prepare endoscopic equipment and supplies Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures by handling instruments, managing equipment, and observing patient responses. Maintain strict aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety throughout procedures. Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels during procedures, providing support as needed. Document procedure details accurately in medical records, including observations, equipment used, and any anomalies. Support post-procedure cleanup, sterilization of instruments, and proper disposal of biohazard materials following safety protocols. Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate smooth workflow and effective communication during patient care. Experience Proven knowledge of human physiology and anatomy relevant to gastrointestinal or respiratory systems. Familiarity with medical terminology associated with endoscopy and diagnostic evaluations. Experience demonstrating aseptic techniques within a clinical setting to maintain sterile environments. Ability to operate medical imaging equipment effectively for diagnostic purposes. Understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes to assist in accurate interpretation of findings. Prior experience working as an Endoscopy Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; relevant clinical training or certification is advantageous. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential for success in this role. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
