Role:

Endoscopy Assistant I Responsibilities:

Assist nursing staff and physicians with patient care during endoscopic procedures, support patient flow, aid in admission, discharge, recovery monitoring, and IV removal under RN supervision. Perform cleaning, disinfection, and routine maintenance of endoscopic equipment, set up procedure rooms according to physician preferences, conduct quality control checks, and manage linens and patient education before and after procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma, 1+ years of clinical experience, strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills.

Preferred:

Medical assisting diploma, ACLS, CPR, BLS certifications.
