Job Description

Endoscopy Technician I Shift:
10:00 AM - 6:30 PM $8,500 Sign-On Bonus Receive a one-time $8,500 sign-on bonus after successful completion of the 6-month contract-to-hire period. Job Summary We are seeking an Endoscopy Technician I to support procedural and surgical services through the preparation, maintenance, cleaning, sterilization, and inventory management of endoscopic equipment. This position is responsible for ensuring equipment is available, functioning properly, and meets all infection prevention and safety standards. Responsibilities Clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, and sterilize endoscopic equipment and accessories. Prepare and maintain equipment needed for scheduled procedures and surgical cases. Perform routine equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and coordinate repairs as needed. Serve as a resource for endoscopic and audiovisual equipment operation. Maintain inventory of endoscopic supplies and equipment. Order, receive, stock, and distribute supplies while monitoring inventory levels. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of supplies. Maintain records related to inventory, purchasing, repairs, and equipment expenses. Process invoices, purchase requests, and vendor-related documentation. Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new equipment and supplies. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure procedural readiness and efficient workflow. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required. Certifications Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) required. Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) required upon hire or obtained within one year of hire. Preferred Skills Experience with endoscope reprocessing and sterile processing practices. Knowledge of infection control and sterilization standards. Strong organizational and inventory management skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
