Advanced Endoscopy Experience Required:
  • Must have hands-on experience assisting with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) and EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) procedures
  • Experience with only EGD and colonoscopy is not sufficient
Certification/Licensure Required:
BLS
  • Required Must hold one of the following certifications:
  • SGNA Certification
  • Certified Surgical Technologist
  • Sterile Processing Department (SPD)
Certification Education Requirements:
Graduation from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program (CAAHEP/ABHES), or Completion of a Surgical Technician Program, or Completion of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training Familiarity with endoscopy equipment or scope/instrument reprocessing, preferred.
  • Minimal two years health care exposure in a similar clinic setting, preferred.
Graduation from an Accredited (CAAHEP/ABHES) Medical Assistant Program, Surgical Technician, or Emergency Medical Tech training, preferred. High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent

SSN Required DOB Required Work History:
Should not be more than 30 days of gap in entire work history
References:
1 Reference in entire work history High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with endoscopy equipment or scope/instrument reprocessing, preferred.
  • Minimal two years health care exposure in a similar clinic setting, preferred.
Graduation from an Accredited (CAAHEP/ABHES) Medical Assistant Program, Surgical Technician, or Emergency Medical Tech training, preferred.
