Duties Prepare endoscopy suites and equipment, including endoscopes, ensuring proper sterilization and reprocessing according to aseptic techniques. Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and other gastrointestinal examinations by providing necessary instruments and support. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures by monitoring vital signs and applying basic life support protocols when necessary. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, including imaging results, equipment usage, and patient information for accurate medical records. Support the technical aspects of medical imaging related to endoscopy, aiding in diagnostic evaluations of gastrointestinal anatomy and physiology.
