Cedar Park Med is hiring an experienced Endoscopy Technician for a 13-week assignment with possible extension at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Upstate New York . This opportunity is ideal for a skilled tech with strong endoscopy experience, including advanced procedural support, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Position Overview As an Endoscopy Technician, you will support physicians during routine and advanced endoscopic procedures, prepare patients and procedure rooms, manage instruments and equipment, and help maintain efficient workflow throughout the department. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to support high-quality patient care in a busy procedural setting. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in an Endoscopy Tech role At least 1 year of experience assisting with advanced endoscopic procedures such as ERCPs, EUS, and POEMS Proficiency with Olympus endoscopes and endoscopy-related ultrasound equipment High school diploma or equivalent required Current BLS certification Preferred Qualifications Endoscopy Tech certification preferred Experience with ProVation MD software ACLS certification preferred Responsibilities Assist physicians during Endoscopy procedures, with a focus on advanced endoscopic interventions including ERCPs, EUS, and POEMS Welcome and prepare patients for procedures, including ID confirmation and positioning Set up and verify proper functioning of all equipment, instruments, and supplies Assist with room turnover, supply restocking, and equipment checks between cases Collect, label, and deliver specimens obtained during procedures Maintain and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment; coordinate with Clinical Engineering and request loaners as needed Ensure compliance with hospital standards, procedures, and policies Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Vacation Pay Bonus Pay Health Insurance 401(k) Professional Development and Career Advancement Opportunities Employee Recognition Programs Annual Appreciation Gifts Access to Third-Party Leadership Training About Cedar Park Med Cedar Park Med is a woman-owned, JCAHO-certified healthcare staffing firm — not an MSP — working directly with healthcare facilities.
