Job Description

Join Our Community! ANCC Magnet designated UPMC Passavant is currently hiring a Full-Time Equipment Reprocessor to support our GI Lab at the McCandless location.
Shift Details:
Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts with variable start time between 6am and 8:30am Weekends and holidays off Shift and scheduling details will be further discussed during the interview
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate accurate cleaning and disinfection procedures for all endoscopes and accessories. Adhere to universal infection control guidelines when cleaning and disinfecting scopes and accessories. Contribute to an efficient work and team environment. Assume responsibility for own development. Maintain unit standards of quality control and safety. Demonstrate proper handling techniques for scopes and accessories. Contribute to maintaining a neat, clean and safe environment. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous employment or training as an Endoscopy Technician or other medical specialty such as Central Service Technician preferred.
