Job Description

Responsibilities:
The Endoscopy Technician facilitates the operative or other invasive procedure by preparing and providing the required instruments, supplies and equipment. Maintains the procedural field and anticipates and responds to the needs of the Endoscopy team.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in the endoscopy suite/operating room. One year of experience preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Certified through the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of infection control principles and excellent communication skills.
