Health and Fitness Specialist (On-Call) Aquila Fitness Consulting Systems, Ltd. - 1.8 Atlanta, GA Job Details $22 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Administrative experience Data interpretation Equipment maintenance Conducting fitness assessments Entry level Full Job Description Aquila's Health and Fitness Specialist (as needed) assists members in safe and effective exercise and performs a wide range of technical exercise and administrative duties in health/fitness center. This position on a part-time, as-needed basis to provide coverage at our corporate fitness center. The pay rate is $22/hour. We want all of our people to be healthy, happy and grow with us. Commuter pre-tax benefits Fitness retailers discount programs Monday to Friday schedule, no weekend or holiday work As a Health and Fitness Specialist, your responsibilities include: Supervise exercise areas Educate members concerning safe exercise techniques Perform exercise assessments and prescribe exercise upon American College of Sports Medicine guidelines Conduct safe and effective assessments including cardiovascular, strength, flexibility and body composition analysis; evaluate and interpret data and identify high risk participants and special populations Aid members - spotting and equipment usage Explain all equipment Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness and safety of all equipment Adhere to departmental and club policies and procedures Adhere to client's policies and procedures Attend staff meetings Assist in wellness and fitness promotions and external events Perform daily administrative duties
