Exercise Physiologist - Full-Time Parkside Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation - Ellijay, GA Full-Time | Weekly Pay | $30 to $36 per-hour Parkside Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Exercise Physiologist to join our rehabilitation team. This position plays an important role in helping residents improve their strength, endurance, mobility, and overall quality of life through individualized exercise and wellness programs. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized exercise programs based on each resident's functional abilities and rehabilitation goals. Monitor residents' progress and adjust exercise plans as needed. Collaborate with Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy teams to support resident outcomes. Educate residents and families on safe exercise techniques and wellness strategies. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure resident safety during all exercise sessions. Promote wellness, mobility, fall prevention, and healthy aging initiatives throughout the facility. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field. Certification through ACSM or another recognized professional organization is preferred. Previous experience in Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, or a healthcare setting is preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Passion for helping older adults achieve their highest level of independence.
