Massage Therapist/Exercise specialist

Summary ofPosition:

Upbeat and optimistic individual will oversee a positive patient experience and assist our team of physicians and therapists in the day-to-day patient management of a growing practice. Looking for individual who is motivated to help our office expand; opportunity for growth and professional advancement as practice evolves.

List of Duties:

• Soft tissue therapy
• Focused massage, trigger point therapy, stretching. (training provided)
• Perform Modalities
• Electric muscle stimulation, Ultrasound, Kinesiotaping, spinal traction, direct cryotherapy. (training provided)
• Rehabilitation
• one on one teaching patients home care routines, specific stretches and exercises. (training provided)
• Therapy bay/Office upkeep
• laundry, restocking products and materials, misc maintenance tasks
• Assisting with patient flow in office, patient intake
• Assisting with community outreach events
• Management of office upkeep and patient files, product inventory and supplies

Job Requirements:

• Previous chiropractic/medical experience a plus
• Formal training conducting rehabilitative exercises and/or performing soft tissue therapies a plus
• Proficient with basic use of Microsoft office including Excel, Word
• Dependable and punctual
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and sense of professionalism
• Willingness to assume new responsibilities
• Must be proactive with strong ability to self manage and prioritize tasks
• Reliable transportation 30-40 hours per week average.
