Educate, motivate, monitor and assist customers/patients to assure safety and a positive experience. Cultivate a customer/patient and family centered approach by including goals and wishes of the participant/patient in the exercise programming/prescription. May serve as team leader for specialty program of expertise. Minimum Requirements Master's Degree or higher in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or an equivalent field. A Master's degree in another area would be acceptable with 3-5 years of experience within the field of cardiopulmonary rehab. ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire. A minimum of one (1) year experience in Phase 2 Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Rehabilitation preferred. Current BLS certification. Other Information #

Health About ECU Health Chowan Hospital ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25-bed critical access hospital which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in 6 counties. The facility offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7-bed emergency department serves approximately 15,000 patients per year and team members at the facility have access to a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
