Stage:

The Paramedic Educator facilitates various responsibilities within the Paramedic Program, including but not limited to delivering classroom lectures, participating in classroom activities, clinical activities, equipment maintenance, and maintaining compliance with student records and skill sessions throughout the RWJBarnabas Health System and program. The Paramedic Educator will report directly to the Paramedic Program Manager. The Paramedic Educator models the expected behaviors, engages staff with professionalism, courtesy, and respect, and supervises the daily operations of education programs within the Training Center.

A Typical Day:

Delivers lectures and materials to students in both a classroom and online setting. Ensures all program content delivery complies with standards and guidelines set forth in NJ state regulations for training as defined in NJAC 8:41A, the National Standard Curriculum, and the RWJ Barnabas Health program curriculum. Demonstrate effective decision-making skills, solves problems, assists in developing departmental processes, attends departmental meetings and represents department as needed for all internal/external interactions. Participate in the review and revision of departmental and educational policy. Participates in standing and ad hoc committees formed by RWJBH and NJOEMS as the need arises.
