Exercise Physiologist for Intensive Cardiac Rehab Program

We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac rehabilitation., with a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive intake assessments , including medical history review, risk-factor evaluation, exercise tolerance, and goal-setting. Lead and monitor supervised exercise sessions , ensuring safety, proper technique, and adherence to clinical protocols. Track and document patient vitals (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, ECG monitoring when needed) throughout sessions. Provide ongoing patient education on exercise, lifestyle modification, heart-healthy behaviors, nutrition basics, and medication adherence. Assist in evaluating patient progress and preparing discharge plans with measurable outcomes and long-term exercise recommendations. Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient care. Participate in program quality assurance, outcome reporting, and maintaining accreditation standards. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Physiology , Kinesiology , or related field. Experience in cardiac rehabilitation required.

Preferred certifications:

ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) , ACLS certification . Proficiency in ECG interpretation.
