Exercise Physiologist Orlando, FL Job Details Full-time | Contract $25 an hour 6 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Exercise Science CPR Certification Physiology knowledge CPR Personal training Driver's License Bachelor's degree Aerobic exercise Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a qualified Exercise Physiologist, Licensed Athletic Trainer, or similarly trained professional to support injury prevention and employee wellness initiatives. This role is fully onsite and requires schedule flexibility, including evenings, early mornings, and at least one weekend day. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic, physically active environment. Key Responsibilities Implement injury prevention programs, including individual and group conditioning, functional movement assessments, and body mechanics coaching Conduct health consultations and provide guidance on injury prevention strategies Evaluate and support musculoskeletal injury prevention and recovery Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote workplace health and safety Maintain accurate documentation and reporting Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or a related field CPR Certification (required) Minimum 1 year of experience (industrial/occupational setting preferred) Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid Florida driver's license Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a related field Experience in industrial or occupational health environments Comfortable using technology and data tracking tools Work Schedule Requirements 40 hours per week (schedule TBD): Either 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts Mandatory flexibility: At least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) Occasional evening and early morning shifts Candidates must not have a strict 5:00 PM cutoff Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently using proper biomechanics Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching throughout shifts Ability to push wheeled equipment Sufficient visual acuity for assessment and documentation Strong verbal communication and hearing ability Fine motor skills for documentation and handling diagnostic/therapeutic equipment Work Environment Fully onsite role No remote or hybrid option available Fast-paced, physically active environment supporting employee health and safety Additional Notes Only candidates with full scheduling flexibility
