Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Exercise Physiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physiology and a passion for patient care. This role involves assessing patients' physical conditions, creating tailored exercise plans, and providing health coaching to help individuals achieve their fitness goals.Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate fitness levels and health status
- Develop personalized exercise programs based on individual needs and goals
- Monitor patients during exercise sessions to ensure safety and effectiveness
- Educate patients on proper techniques and exercises
- Track progress and adjust programs as needed
- Provide health coaching to motivate and support patients
- Record and maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field (PREFERRED)
- Certification as an Exercise Physiologist (e.g., ACSM, NSCA) (PREFERRED)
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Experience in patient service and assessment
- Proficiency in measuring vital signs and interpreting results
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients
