An Exercise Physiologist or Specialist directs exercise programs for clients who are recovering from injuries or illnesses, who have disabilities or other chronic conditions, or who want to minimize health risks. Recommends exercise routines or modifications, and monitors patient health. Works in recreational centers, hospitals or other facilities. May provide advice to athletes and people interested in sports training.

Job Description
Other duties include:
Taking Blood Pressures, Palpate pulse, Pulse Ox saturation and perform blood glucose check.Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science, Kinesiology, Sport Management or a Fitness Related Field or a combination of education, experience or certification from ACSM or must obtain ACSM within 6 months of being hired
- Current BLS certification
- ALCS certification within 3 months
- ACSM certification within 6 months
