Headway is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our innovative team, focused on transforming the accessibility of mental health services. At Headway, we streamline the connection between patients and mental health professionals by facilitating therapy access through insurance coverage. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact the well-being of individuals and families, providing them with the support needed to navigate life's challenges in a supportive and collaborative environment. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge Provide couple, family, and group therapy sessions to address interpersonal, marital, and family systems issues Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and client progress in accordance with relevant laws and regulations Advocate for mental health awareness and provide education to clients and their families about effective coping strategies Regularly review and adjust therapeutic approaches considering client feedback and latest therapy methodologies Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in various therapeutic techniques and modalities, particularly those pertaining to marriage and family therapy Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Empathy and patience to assist clients through emotional or psychological distress Medical Insurance Life Insurance Current state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Certification in Clinical Supervision for junior therapists preferredSimilar jobs in Mobile, AL
