Behavioral & Mental Health Therapist Wraparound Care & Neurodevelopmental Support Blue Wave Behavioral Health | Campbell, California Full-Time | Hybrid (Teletherapy, In-Office, In-Home/Community-Based) Blue Wave Behavioral Health is looking for a Behavioral & Mental Health Therapist to join our growing founding team! We are a forward-thinking, neurodiversity-affirming behavioral health practice pioneering a deeply personalized, science-driven approach to neurodevelopmental and mental health care. We serve children, teens, and young adults navigating autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, anxiety, depression, and other complex presentations. Our care model brings together clinicians across disciplines to design and deliver comprehensive, wraparound care that goes beyond the therapy room—into homes, schools, and communities. What will you do? Provide behavioral and mental health therapy for children, teens, and young adults, including many neurodivergent youth with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, executive functioning challenges, and related needs Deliver wraparound-style, family-centered care aimed at supporting and stabilizing the broader family system Address behavioral, emotional, social, and mental health challenges through evidence-based, neuro-affirming, coaching-oriented approaches Conduct parent coaching, family sessions, and caregiver support focused on skill-building, communication, and advocacy Conduct crisis intervention, safety planning, and risk assessments as clinically indicated Deliver services across multiple settings including teletherapy, in-office, school-based, and in-home/community-based environments Collaborate with schools, educators, caregivers, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate care across systems Support youth and families navigating school systems, including participation in IEP-related collaboration and consultation when appropriate Adapt your clinical approach to honor each individual's strengths, needs, and communication style Contribute to innovative program development including nature-based therapy offerings (equine-assisted therapy, eco-therapy), thought leadership, and public education Help shape services, workflows, and care models as a founding team member We'd love to hear from you if:
Required:
You are licensed in California (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) or a registered Associate (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) with strong applicable experience in community-based mental health, school-based services, wraparound care, and/or higher-acuity youth and family work You are passionate about working with neurodivergent and neurodevelopmentally diverse youth and families You have strong skills in crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, behavioral interventions, coaching, and conflict resolution You are comfortable working across multiple settings including teletherapy, office, schools, and home/community You thrive in collaborative, interdisciplinary environments alongside medical providers, educators, and families You are committed to neuro-affirming, family-centered, neurodevelopmentally informed care
Preferred:
Autism and/or ADHD certification, or strong interest in pursuing certification Experience with parent coaching, family systems work, and advocacy-driven care Experience in wraparound, school-based, community-based, or higher-acuity settings Interest in nature-based, eco-therapy, or experiential therapy approaches Bilingual/multilingual skills Why Blue Wave? Pay:
$75.00 - $150.00 per hour
