Job Description

Ad Astra Behavior Analytic Services is seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. This is a full-time position offering $50-$65 per hour, with flexible scheduling and a strong commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. About the Role As a BCBA at Ad Astra, you will provide clinical leadership and help ensure clients receive individualized, high-quality ABA services. You will work closely with behavior technicians, families, and interdisciplinary professionals to support meaningful client progress.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and supervising individualized behavior support plans Mentoring and guiding behavior technicians Completing assessments Collaborating with families and interdisciplinary professionals to support client outcomes Facilitating staff trainings Evaluating team performance Supporting a collaborative and positive work environment Attending IEP and IFSP meetings, as required, to support client advocacy and coordination of services We are committed to advancing quality and innovation in applied behavior analysis while prioritizing the health, professional growth, and well-being of our clients and team members. Qualifications Master's degree and current BCBA certification (required) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally Spanish speaking is valued but not required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Physical and Cognitive Requirements Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and transition between floor-level and standing positions throughout the workday. Actively participate in developmentally appropriate client activities, including floor-based activities, movement-based activities, transitions, and safety monitoring. Safely navigate assigned work environments, including homes, clinics, schools, community settings, and remote/telehealth settings, as applicable. Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or move therapy materials and equipment, typically up to 50 pounds. Sit for extended periods while providing telehealth services or completing computer-based work as needed. Use hands and fingers to operate computers, keyboards, mobile devices, and other equipment requiring fine motor coordination. Maintain visual and auditory awareness to observe client behavior, monitor safety, and communicate effectively in both in-person and virtual settings. Read, understand, retain, and apply written and verbal information. Maintain attention, concentration, situational awareness, and sound judgment in dynamic environments. Collect, record, and submit accurate client data and session documentation. Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information. Maintain professionalism and emotional resilience when addressing sensitive client or employee matters, complaints, and workplace concerns.
