Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice primarily serves children and adolescents experiencing a spectrum of mental health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. You will engage with young clients in a supportive, understanding manner, aiming to build rapport and trust to foster a therapeutic alliance. The focus will be on encouraging self-expression and resilience in our young patients, as well as addressing familial dynamics that impact their mental health. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California. Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches tailored to this demographic. Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating an ability to relate effectively with children, adolescents, and their families.
