Job Description
Inclusive Education and Community Partnership ( IECP ) is a progressive Agency specializing in including children with autism and other developmental disabilities with their typically developing peers in school and community settings. IECP is a well established and respected partner to school districts and families having provided quality services for hundreds of schools and thousands of children. We are hoping to find new staff with a passion and commitment to make inclusion a reality and to improve the lives of the children we support! Paid Training and 30 plus hours a week available! IECP is currently hiring full time and part time Behavior Intervention Specialist (also known as BII or Behavior Therapist) located in schools surrounding Inglewood and areas throughout West LA which may include Hawthorne, Westmont, Westwood, Marina Del Rey, Culver City, Venice, Mar Vista, Westchester and many other regions in the southwest area of Los Angeles. Requirements for the position of Behavior Therapist at IECP include: Desire to learn, contribute, and make the world a better place A foundational understanding of tolerance, respect, and appreciation of human differences. Firm belief that children with and without disabilities benefit from being together and shared experiences. Bachelors Degree in a related field (preferred but NOT required), TB Clearance, and Live Scan Clearance. Previous Successful candidates come from all kinds of different experiences and professions. Some include Coaching Child care School aides Teachers aides Summer camp or after school program workers Anyone who wants a fulfilling career that really makes a difference in the world!!
