Job Description

Associate Therapist (AMFT / MFT Associate) Mental Health & Dual Diagnosis Treatment Program Orange County, Laguna Hills, CA Hiring Immediately Manifest Behavioral Health is seeking compassionate, motivated, and clinically strong Associate Therapists (AMFTs/MFT Associates) to join our growing mental health and dual-diagnosis treatment team. This position provides an opportunity to work with adults experiencing mental health, substance use, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and co-occurring conditions within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment. We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about helping clients create meaningful change while growing professionally under experienced clinical leadership. Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy sessions Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups Complete biopsychosocial assessments Develop and update treatment plans Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with case management, medical, and clinical teams Participate in treatment team meetings Assist with discharge planning and aftercare recommendations Support clients in achieving treatment goals and recovery milestones Maintain ethical and professional standards of care Qualifications Required Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) OR Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFTI) Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team Experience facilitating groups or willingness to learn Preferred Experience in mental health treatment Experience in substance use disorder treatment Knowledge of ASAM criteria Familiarity with Kipu or similar EMR systems Experience working with dual-diagnosis populations Crisis intervention experience Schedule Full-Time Available Monday through Friday Daytime schedule Some evening groups may be available Part-Time Available Flexible scheduling options Afternoon and evening opportunities available Compensation
