Job Description

Job description Olive Leaf Family Therapy is looking for Registered Associate Therapists to join our team. We are seeking associates who are open, creative, collaborative, eager to learn, and passionate about healing through relationships. The position is a part-time and hybrid (virtual/in-person) and can build to full-time . Documentation is streamlined with therapist self-care in mind. Opportunities are available for extra training and specialization. Supervision is provided in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Therapist Job Responsibilities:
Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical counseling to clients as scheduled. Complete clinical documentation by end of day or early next day. Maintain current registration with Board of Behavioral Sciences Adhere to legal and ethical standards of the profession Provide creative, effective, evidence-based treatment for mild to moderate acuity Determine medical necessity of clients utilizing insurance Make appropriate outside referrals
Required Qualifications:
A masters or doctoral degree in a mental health-related field. Hold or be eligible for California AMFT or APCC Registration (required) Experience working with adults, couples, and families in a therapeutic setting Competency in therapeutic responsibilities including, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, crisis management, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and/or experience using Emotionally Focused Therapy techniques (bonus for EFCT) Interest and/or experience working with LGBTQ+ clients Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently Willingness to be open to feedback and learning opportunities Desire to attend and complete couple's therapy focused trainings Active membership in CAMFT and/or
AMFT Skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with Admin and other Clinicians Willingness to be open to feedback and learning opportunities Desire to attend and complete professional development trainings Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences
Schedule:
in-person/telehealth part-time leading to full-time available at least two evenings or one evening and half-day on the weekend Why Us?
