We are currently seeking licensed therapists in California (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) to provide virtual mental health services on a 1099 contract basis. As a contracted provider, you'll work independently, set your own schedule, and use your clinical expertise to help clients thrive—supported by Teladoc's technology and infrastructure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (as an Independent Contractor) Deliver individual therapy sessions virtually (via secure video and phone), focusing on adolescent and adult populations. Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with applicable legal and ethical standards. Coordinate with Teladoc's support teams as needed to facilitate client care and resolve technical issues. Exercise independent clinical judgment to manage client care in a remote setting. Required Qualifications Experience providing therapy in an unsupervised, independent practice setting. Active license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) in California with eligibility to treat patients independently Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Candidates who have opted out of Medicare or are in the opt-out period cannot be considered. Experience working with clients managing PTSD, depression, anxiety, or trauma-related conditions. Strong clinical skills and ability to operate autonomously in a telehealth environment. Proficient in using EHR systems and telehealth platforms. Medi-Cal Enrolled is preferred.
