Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active and clear California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families, ideally in an educational or school-based setting Proficiency in crisis intervention, counseling, and developing intervention plans Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple sites Flexibility, compassion, and a client-centered therapeutic approachCore Responsibilities:
Provide individual, group, and family counseling to students facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs Collaborate with school personnel to create a safe, supportive learning environment Facilitate workshops or support groups related to social-emotional learning, stress management, and conflict resolution Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and community resources as needed Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support student well-being This position offers an engaging, collaborative environment where your skills as a Marriage and Family Therapist will directly contribute to students' growth and success.
