This position conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, provides individual, child, family, and group therapy, coordinates client care, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support healing, empowerment, and long-term stability. Duties Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, clinical evaluations, and risk assessments for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other trauma. Develop, implement, monitor, and update individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans in collaboration with clients. Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and stabilization services to clients experiencing the impacts of domestic violence, sexual assault, and related trauma. Monitor client progress and modify treatment goals and interventions as clinically appropriate. Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and community partners to coordinate comprehensive, survivor-centered care. Provide referrals and connect clients with community resources that support their safety, mental health, housing, legal, medical, and social service needs. Participate in clinical supervision, case consultations, multidisciplinary team meetings, and required agency trainings. Practice within the scope of the employee's California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) associate registration under the supervision of a qualified licensed clinician. Maintain professional boundaries and uphold the ethical standards established by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Provide trauma-informed individual, child, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that promote healing, resilience, and empowerment. Complete accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, referrals, discharge summaries, and other required records. Enter and maintain client information within Apricot, WRC's electronic client database. Maintain documentation in compliance with agency policies, ethical standards, funding requirements, HIPAA, and applicable federal and state regulations. Assist with data collection, outcome tracking, and program reporting as required by funding sources. Other duties as assigned. Experience Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited program. Current California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) registration in good standing as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). Two (2) years of behavioral health, counseling, social services, or case management experience preferred. Experience serving survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, or other trauma-impacted populations preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care. Must successfully complete a Live Scan criminal background check prior to employment. Must complete the required 80-hour Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Counselor Training after hire. Physical Requirements This role involves a combination of sedentary and active work, including periods of sitting, standing, and moving between office, residential, and community settings. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively in person, via telephone, and in writing, provide direct support and crisis intervention to clients, and occasionally accompany clients to appointments or community locations.
