Psychopharmacology Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a mental health therapist that is passionate about delivering the highest quality of care to individuals within the communities we serve. Job duties will include routine referrals, post-hospitalization referrals, and HealthyLink assessments. Must have knowledge of the spectrum of mental illness, symptomatology, psychotropic medications, and the problems presented in adjusting to life cycle changes. Must have knowledge of lifespan issues from adult development to issues of aging and the ability to articulate philosophy regarding a psychotherapeutic approach within generally accepted practices of psychotherapy. Must hold a valid California license as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Marraige & Family Therapist (LMFT) Psychologist ( PsyD or PhD)

Responsibilities:

Ability to understand and follow directions from supervisors, as well as comply with regulatory directives, state laws, licensing rules and regulations, and certification standards that cover mental health, HIPPA, and the chronically mentally ill. Ability to discuss progress toward goals and objectives, such as medication regimen, family relationships, educational programs, social development, discharge plans or other behavioral problems, with clients. Maintain electronic case records that are in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and other federal and state regulations. Demonstrates excellent verbal skills (essential to communicate clearly with clients and other staff members). Ability to read and understand clinical reports and professional literature. Ability to accurately recognize crisis situations, assess potential danger to clients and/or others, and effectively intervene. Ability to recognize dual diagnosis and substance abuse problems. Ability to carry a clinical caseload via secured HIPPA Compliant Telehealth platform while maintaining required productivity level as detailed by leadership.

Experience:

Minimum 1 years practice experience with administering therapeutic interventions. Demonstration of licensure free from any record of ethics and boundaries sanctions or reports of any type of client abuse.
