Mental Health Therapist

## Job Summary We are seeking dedicated Mental Health Therapists to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions. ## Duties

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
• Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress
• Implement case management strategies to coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
• Utilize various therapeutic approaches such as psychotherapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and addiction counseling
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital settings to ensure comprehensive care ## Skills
• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing treatment plans
• Experience in providing direct support and crisis intervention to individuals in distress
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities including psychotherapy, art therapy, and dance therapy
• Strong understanding of case management principles for coordinating client care effectively
• Ability to work in a hospital environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals for holistic treatment approaches Qualifications Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work Registered with Board of Psychology and/or Board of Behavioral Sciences Proficient in crisis intervention and psychotherapy techniques Experience in art therapy and dance therapy modalities Strong skills in patient assessment and case management Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices Familiarity with working with diverse populations, including children and individuals with developmental disabilities
