Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess the following traits: compassion and care, a willingness to continue learning, patience, flexibility, and some experience in the field. •Masters degree preferred •Bilingual preferred Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Training Professionals (Master's Degree) and Training Specialists (Bachelor's Degree) to join our laid back fun-loving team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing training programs tailored for individuals with developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum. Your expertise will help enhance our clients' skills and independence while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following traits: compassion and care, a willingness to continue learning, patience, flexibility, and some experience in the field. For consideration, candidates must possess a bachelors or master's degree in the following areas; education, psychology, counseling, nursing, social work, applied behavior analysis, behavioral medicine, speech and language, rehabilitation, or marriage and family counseling, or a comaprable degree in a human services field and one year minimum of supporting individuals with intellectual and/or disabilities. Services are provided in the home or community, employees provide there own transportation. Initial training is provided as well as ongoing training and eduational opportunities.
Additional stipulations:
Current CPR certification (can be obtained after hire date), fingerprinting, background check, current insurance, and valid drivers license. Additional compensation for spanish speaking/bilingual employees. Responsibilities Deliver training programs focused on skill development for individuals with disabilities. Collaborate with other professionals to create individualized training plans that address specific needs. Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home and community care. Assist clients with activities of daily living to promote independence. Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive outcomes. Conduct data collection and analysis to track client progress and program effectiveness. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure a cohesive whole-person approach to care. Maintain accurate records of training sessions, client interactions, and progress reports. Experience Candidates would benefit from experience or knowledge in the following areas: Working with people with developmental disabilities and autism. Behavioral health principles and behavior management strategies. Home & community care experience, including caregiving roles. Proficiency in American Sign Language is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families. Experience in driving as part of job responsibilities may be required. Background in childcare or social work is beneficial. This position requires a passion for helping others and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for individuals with diverse needs.
