Fred Finch Youth & Family Services partners with individuals and communities to provide culturally responsive services that cultivate mental and physical resilience and wellness. Fred Finch TBS behavior "clinicians" work intensively with a participant in their home or in the community. The program requests authorization to provide services up to 20 hours a week. The needs of each participant guide the length and intensity of the program services they receive. The TBS Clinician designs, structures, models, and supports one-to-one interventions to modify target behaviors of concern or teach appropriate alternative behaviors, so that children and their family members or caregivers can live independently. To sustain participants' improvements after TBS concludes, staff develops transition plans to help each child and their caregivers.
Work Schedule:
This position is full-time - afternoon and evenings required. Clinical services provided in the community, home, office and telehealth settings.
What You Will Do:
Under administrative and clinical supervision Mental Health Therapist provides behavioral health clinical intervention and recovery services to assigned participants and their families; develops treatment plans and performs individual, group, and family therapy, routine and emergency assessment, crisis intervention, and related treatment services; manages an assigned caseload of children, youth and/or young adult participants; provides consultation to other staff, programs, and agencies related to treatment needs and plans; and performs related duties as assigned.

Pay Schedule :
This position is paid on a bi-weekly basis across 26 pay periods. Pay Range (Per Pay Period): Final compensation is based on relevant experience, education, and qualifications permitted by law.
Mental Health Therapist I :
$70,304- $89,434.15 per year
Mental Health Therapist II:
$77,112 - $98,416.62 per year
Qualifications:
Education:
Mental Health Therapist I-II:
: Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field; and
Mental Health Therapist I :
One (1) year of internship experience providing mental health services in a behavioral health, clinic, residential, school-based, or community-based setting for children, youth, or young adults.
Mental Health Therapist II :
Two (2) years of post-master's experience providing professional mental health services in a behavioral health, clinic, residential, school-based, or community-based setting for children, youth, or young adults.
Licenses and Certifications:
Possession of a valid California Driver's License, a satisfactory driving record, and a properly registered and insured vehicle, to be maintained throughout employment.
Mental Health Therapist I :
Possession of a valid registration as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), to be maintained throughout employment.
