The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals across various age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults. This role involves working closely with clients and their families to develop personalized treatment plans, monitor progress, and promote positive behavioral change. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals facing developmental, emotional, or behavioral challenges within a supportive clinical environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical terminology and ICD coding (ICD-9, ICD-10). Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) , Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , psychodynamic therapy , and other evidence-based modalities. Deliver individual , group , and family counseling sessions tailored to client needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, PTSD, chronic pain, or grief. Utilize behavior management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety and promote positive outcomes. Maintain accurate medical records and document all clinical interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate care. Engage in ongoing clinical research , data collection, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance therapeutic effectiveness. Provide telehealth services when appropriate and participate in training related to medical documentation and ICD coding for billing purposes. Support clients through crisis management and support strategies tailored for diverse populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities. Requirements Proven experience or training in psychotherapy , behavioral therapy , or related fields such as mental health counseling , addiction counseling , or special education . Knowledge of therapeutic techniques including motivational interviewing , behavior management , psychodynamic therapy , and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards. Experience conducting intake assessments via telehealth or in-person settings. Ability to handle crisis situations effectively using proven crisis intervention methods. Strong interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and diverse populations; experience in pediatrics or geriatrics is a plus. Certification or background in social work, clinical counseling, or related disciplines preferred. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Flexibility to work in outpatient or inpatient settings; experience with clinical research is advantageous.
