AMFT, ACSW
(Must have complete supervised hours by LCSW elsewhere) or APCC.Competencies :
Experience with mental health and/or substance abuse populations/experience in dual diagnosis. Comfortable facilitating groups, in addition to conducting individual therapy sessions. Training in evidence-based practices. Desire to participate as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversity of clients and staff. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task, manage client care, and maintain facility standards. Desire to assist those with mental health and substance abuse concerns. Ability to manage screening, assessment, individualized treatment planning, crisis intervention, group and individual counseling, case management, referral, discharge summaries, clinical documentation, and professional ethics. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, supervisors, utilization reviewers, therapists, and medical and operational professionals. Ability to positively interact and develop rapport with clients and their families. Ability to develop systems and methodologies for continuous improvement of program and treatment modalities. Understanding of diverse cultures and gender-specific issues and ability to incorporate needs of gender and culturally diverse groups into the practice setting.Qualifications :
Must meet:AMFT, ACSW
(Must have completed supervised hours by an LCSW), APCC Preferred experience in dual diagnosis. Experience working with eating disorders is preferred, though not required. Must be comfortable facilitating both MH and SA groups, in addition to conducting individual therapy sessions.Experience:
