The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges. This role involves implementing treatment plans, collecting data on patient progress, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations while providing exceptional patient care. Duties Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed professional. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate behavioral health needs and progress. Collect and document data on patient behavior and responses to interventions. Provide direct care and support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with established protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Uphold confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health. Requirements Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices is essential. Familiarity with data collection methods and medical documentation processes. Understanding of behavioral health principles and patient assessment techniques. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a compassionate approach to care.
