Primary Therapist Monarch Mental Health Companies Position Title:

Clinical Director Overview:
Monarch Mental Health is dedicated to providing comprehensive, client-centered care for individuals transitioning from state hospitals to community living and clients who are legally involved in competency and restoration due to severe and persistent mental health. Our residential mental health programs offer a supportive environment where clients can reintegrate into society with the necessary therapeutic support. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Primary Therapist to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
    Clinical Assessment and Treatment Planning:
    ○ Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. ○ Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific needs of each client. ○ Collaborate with clients to set realistic and achievable goals for their treatment.
      Individual and Group Therapy:
      ○ Provide weekly individual therapy sessions to address clients' mental health issues, enhance coping skills, and support their recovery journey. ○ Facilitate group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive community and encouraging peer support among clients. ○ Incorporate various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, to meet diverse client needs.
        Crisis Intervention and Management:
        ○ Respond promptly to clients in crisis, providing immediate support and intervention. ○ Develop and implement crisis management plans to ensure client safety and stabilization. ○ Coordinate with other team members and external agencies to manage crises effectively.
          Documentation and Compliance:
          ○ Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. ○ Ensure all treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries are completed in a timely manner. ○ Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
            Collaboration and Communication:
            ○ Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including case managers, and medical staff, to provide holistic care. ○ Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and treatment strategies. ○ Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and external service providers to coordinate care.
              Training and Development:
              ○ Stay current with advancements in the field of mental health and incorporate new knowledge into practice. ○ Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities provided by Monarch Mental Health. ○ Provide mentorship and support to interns and junior staff as needed.
              Qualifications:
                Education and Licensure:
                ○ Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. ○ Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Colorado (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent). ○ CPR/BLS Certification (can be provided with right fit)
                  Experience:
                  ○ Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. ○ Experience in a residential or transitional living setting is preferred.
                    Skills:
                    ○ Strong therapeutic skills and knowledge of various evidence-based treatment modalities. ○ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. ○ Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently.
